We began in the mid-2000s by partnering with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) to develop mission-critical clinical software, including a system to identify patients for participation in emergency medicine research [QuinnDurski 2004].
The system was soon being used by other clinical investigators, such as cardiologists, neurologists, and pulmonologists. These physicians wanted the same basic capability: precise patient identification in real time, enabling enrollment of patients at the point of care.
Our technology has screened more than 5,000,000 patients for research participation, enrolling over 15,000 in clinical trials and studies.
The PatientLocate℠ Service
Based on our many years of experience, we launched a robust HIPAA-compliant software service, PatientLocate, for identifying potential research patients as part of the care-delivery process.
PatientLocate enhances the performance of research sites by accelerating patient identification and recruitment. PatientLocate supports phase II through phase IV clinical research across all therapeutic indications.
By offering the PatientLocate service, we provide the benefits of an advanced informatics infrastructure for clinical trial recruitment to all research sites, even those without an extensive informatics staff.
